Shockwave therapy X-WAVE. What it is?
Shockwave therapy X-Wave is used to treat a variety of ailments using a shock wave of low purity that is not perceived by the human ear (infrasound), which improves blood circulation, normalizes metabolism and activates the processes of cell regeneration and renewal.
The principle of SWT treatment provides the so-called tissue microtraumatization, which causes the following processes in the human body:
– Neovascularization – improving blood circulation by renewing small vessels (capillaries, arterioles, venules) in the treatment area.
– Increased production of collagen – providing the renovation of skin tissues, joints, muscles, bones and tendons.
– Starting the process of local decalcification – a decrease in the pathological concentration of calcium in the tissues, which leads to the restoration of the normal structure and giving the tissues elasticity.

What is treated at the Coollaser Clinic with the X-Wave?
– Cellulite
– Scars, stretch marks
– Diseases of the musculoskeletal system
What is the working principle and what waves are used?
X-Wave produces acoustic waves – very powerful unfocused pulses of sound that generate physical vibrations in the human body.
The energy of low tones is used to guarantee the avoidance of disturbances in the tissues of the human body, with the simultaneous penetration of waves into the body and their wide and powerful effect on the maximum body area with the possibility of using simultaneous myostimulation.
Myostimulation is a procedure, the physiotherapeutic task of which is to create a load of a group of muscles, to increase their tone for body shaping, as well as to prevent muscle atrophy.

What do you need to know about cellulite before choosing X-WAVE shock wave therapy?
Cellulite manifestations
Cellulite is a topographic change in the skin that occurs predominantly in women. Modification of the skin topography is externally manifested by the symptom of “lemon peel” and appears mainly on the skin of the pelvic region and lower extremities.
The skin is composed of elastin and collagen fibers. Collagen is a fibrous protein that gives the skin its structure and strength. This same collagen forms fat-containing compartments (septa) in the skin, which, when functioning normally, support the structure and insulate the fat.
However, due to some of the hormonal processes that are triggered after puberty (increased estrogen levels), if the compartments become full and dense, the septa are unable to store excess fat. The septa bend or rupture, and fat protrudes to the surface of the skin, forming unaesthetic swellings on it.
The reason cellulite occurs predominantly in women is due to the different volume and location of body fat. In women, the skin is thinner, the orientation of collagen fibers is different from that of men.
Fat cells in women are approximately twice as large as in men. They are located perpendicular to the surface of the skin.
In women, the connective tissue is less dense than in men, and they have collagen / elastic fibers located collaterally. With an increase in volume, they can only move upward, which leads to the aforementioned symptom of “lemon peel”.
In addition, the female sex hormones estrogen, progesterone and estrone cause physiological thinning and weakening of the subcutaneous connective tissue.
X-Wave treatment stimulates tissue microcirculation. Accelerated blood flow and high vasomotor activity stimulate lipolysis, while slowing blood flow causes fat deposition.
X-Wave stimulates the regenerative processes in the skin and promotes significant changes in the structure of the skin, which lead to an improvement in skin elasticity and a decrease in the manifestation of cellulite.
How does a shock wave therapy session work?
A rejuvenation shockwave therapy session lasts an average of fifteen minutes and consists of two parts: an active phase and a maintenance phase. The number of pulses per patient and the treated area (approximate size – 400 cm2) reaches 6,000 pulses. Treatment is carried out with a focused transmitter from BTL
What procedures is combined with shock wave therapy?
Shock wave therapy complements well with all non-surgical liposuction procedures.
